Sample Answer 1

One of the most common leisure activities that I enjoy doing with my family is watching movies. Indians are passionate about cinema, and watching movies is a shared cultural experience that brings people together.

We usually watch movies together at home or at movie theaters, depending on our preference. In recent times, due to the pandemic, we have mostly resorted to watching movies at home. However, watching movies at a theater was a popular weekend activity for us before the pandemic.

When we watch movies together, we choose a film that everyone can enjoy. The movie selection process is often a fun and exciting experience, with family members suggesting their favorite films and debating over which one to watch. Once a movie is chosen, everyone settles down, often with some snacks and beverages, to enjoy the cinematic experience.

Watching movies together creates an opportunity for family members to bond and share their thoughts and feelings about the film. After the movie, we often engage in discussions about the plot, the acting, the music, and the overall experience. These conversations often lead to deeper and more meaningful discussions about life and relationships.

Watching movies with family is a source of joy and happiness for many people in India. It's a simple and affordable way to spend time together and create shared memories that last a lifetime.

One such activity that I enjoy to do with my family is playing board games such as Carrom or Ludo. These board games are a staple in Indian households and have been a part of Indian culture for generations.

We usually play these games indoors, either in the living room or on a dining table. The rules of these games are simple, and people of all ages can participate and enjoy them.

While playing, family members engage in light-hearted banter and friendly competition, which strengthens family bonds and fosters a sense of togetherness. It's a perfect way to unwind and spend quality time with each other.

Playing these board games is a great source of entertainment and relaxation. It's a fun and inexpensive way to spend time with family and create cherished memories.

One such activity that I enjoy to do with my family is visiting amusement parks.

Amusement parks are a popular attraction in India, and many cities have one or more of these parks. We often visit these parks during weekends or holidays to spend time together and have fun. One popular amusement park in India is Imagica, located near Mumbai.

Once at the amusement park, we enjoy a variety of rides and attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, and thrill rides. We also enjoy various shows and performances, such as acrobatics, dance shows, and magic shows. There are also many food stalls and restaurants where we enjoy a range of snacks, meals, and beverages.

Well, sir, I do remember the time when my parents and I went to a very famous and religious city in North India called Amritsar last year in May. The short tour has become a permanent part of my memory because many loving memories are associated with it.

Actually, I am preoccupied with my studies in my daily life, while my parents are busy with their jobs. We work for days and days without taking a break. My father occasionally works on Sundays, making it difficult for my family to spend time together.

I'm not sure why, but out of the blues, my father decided to take my mother and me on a trip one day. He needed to get away and was tired of his job. Returning to the subject, I'm pleased to tell you that it was one of the most enjoyable trips I've ever taken.

We took a train, which is one of my favourite modes of transportation, and the trip became even more exciting when I discovered one of my old friends on the same coach. We had known each other for a long time, and seeing him and his family brought me to tears.

Sir, I was reminded of my childhood days when I would go to his house and spend my afternoons there. Surprisingly, my friend and his family were also travelling to Amritsar. My friend and I had a lot of fun while travelling.

The most exciting part of the journey was yet to come. My father is usually a serious man, but on that journey, I realised that he is a very soft-hearted person and a very loving father.

He treated me as if I were a friend to him, and he wanted me to accompany him wherever he went. If I insisted on staying with my friend, he allowed my friend to accompany us. We went to a number of locations, including Jallianwala Bagh, the Golden Temple, and others.

More fascinating was to see my mother so happy after a long time. She had always wished to purchase Punjabi dresses. That, I think, was the day when her dreams came true. She went to various markets and bought whatever she desired.

OK, I think it was one of those times when I felt like I am so lucky to be a part of such a happy and caring family. I wish I had more opportunities to go on trips like this.
