52. You have bought a packet of breakfast cereal at Gibbon’s supermarket. When you opened it at home it had clearly gone bad.

Write a letter of complaint to the manager of the supermarket and explain what you want to happen.

Dear Sir,

I am sorry to say that I am strongly disappointed with my last purchase, called, 'cereal', that I made from your reputed store two days ago.

I have been a regular returning customer of yours for the last three years, and I have made hundreds of purchases in the last three years without any issues regarding eatable products. Unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with the expired packet of breakfast cereal provided by your staff.

I chose to buy that new cereal packet because it was being advertised on TV and on your store page also. From the advertisement, I came to know that it was very healthy, full of minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, and the cheapest one, but after buying that bag, my hope died down. I was completely frustrated because when I opened it was expired and the granules were covered with fungi and there were many tiny worms in them. It was completely uneatable and smelt, which would cause many health diseases if I ate it.

I hope that you will take this issue seriously, and next time do not provide any expiry date eatable products. I want your apology in return.

I am sorry to say that I am strongly disappointed with the quality of service provided by your staff two days ago when I made a purchase of cereals from your reputed store.

I have been a regular returning customer of yours for the last two years, and have made hundreds of purchases without any issues regarding the quality of the food items. Unfortunately, I am strongly dissatisfied with this expiry eating product that you provided.

I chose to buy this one because it was being advertised continuously on your website, which claimed that it was one of the best cereals containing minerals, proteins, and vitamins. After receiving it, my hopes died down because it was an expired product. When I opened it, there were many tiny worms in the packet, smelling so badly. It would cause some health issues if I ate it.

I hope you will look into this matter seriously, and I require an apology from your person.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience to offer me a complete refund.
