Dear Sir,

                                     I am writing to express my interest in attending the charity event organised by your reputable non-governmental organisation, Shiksha Niketan. According to the report, you are planning to have a Diwali celebration on 11 November.

                                        I saw an advertisement in last Friday's Hindustan Times seeking volunteer assistance. I am writing to assist handicapped youngsters in learning at your NGO because I have been passionate about helping with such activities since I was a kid. I have joined a number of online charitable trusts and make a monthly donations.

                                        I would want to assist your children by giving them art and craft supplies for hand-made items such as Diwali candles and rangoli colours, as well as a contribution of 10,000 rupees. This is where providing them with some sweets on this occasion may be beneficial.

                                     I would be grateful if you could give me permission to do so. I eagerly await your response.
