13. Describe a time you moved to a new home/school.

You should say:

When you moved?

Where you moved?

Why you moved?

And how you felt about it? 

Sample Answer 

I moved to a new home and school about five years ago. I had just finished high school and decided to move out of my parents' house and start a new chapter in my life. I moved from a small town in the Midwest to a larger city on the East Coast. 

The main reason I moved was because I wanted to experience something new. I wanted to experience a big city and all the opportunities that it presented. I was also looking for a more challenging academic environment, and I knew that the school I was moving to had excellent programs. 

I was both excited and nervous when I made the move. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to make new friends and explore a new city, but I was also anxious about leaving my family and friends behind. Nevertheless, I was determined to make the most of this new experience. 

When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I settled into my new home. I developed an immediate connection with the city and the people I met. I was also impressed with the quality of the academics at the school I was attending. I quickly made a lot of new friends and was able to take advantage of the many opportunities that were available. 

Overall, I'm glad I made the move to a new home and school. It was a really positive experience in my life and I'm glad I took the plunge.
