Sample Answer

One place I visited in India where the air was polluted was Delhi. I visited the city a few years ago during the winter season.

The air in Delhi was not good due to various factors, including vehicle emissions, industrial pollution, and the burning of crop residue in nearby agricultural areas. During the winter season, the air quality in Delhi drops to hazardous levels, making it difficult to breathe and causing a range of health problems for the people living there.

I remember feeling very uncomfortable during my visit to Delhi due to the poor air quality. I had difficulty breathing and felt a persistent cough and irritation in my throat. The smog and haze made it difficult to see clearly, and I could feel the pollution settling in my hair and clothes.

It was distressing to see the impact of air pollution on the people of Delhi, particularly on children and the elderly. I saw many people wearing masks and struggling to go about their daily lives amidst the hazardous air conditions.

Overall, my visit to Delhi was a stark reminder of the urgent need for action to address air pollution in India and around the world. It highlighted the importance of taking individual and collective steps to reduce emissions and protect the environment and public health.
