Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my interest in giving a speech at your institution on the occasion of International Day. I would consider it an honour if you could provide me with the opportunity to represent and speak on behalf of my country, India.

On this International Day of Peace and Understanding, my country's rich cultural heritage will be the topic of a discussion with children. I want to shed some light on a variety of topics, including the brief histories of historic landmarks, the diversity of food and clothing worn by different ethnic groups throughout the country, and some insights into the country's rich historical past.

I believe it will be beneficial for students, especially those who are studying history, archaeology, and other humanities subjects. Being acquainted with a varied and culturally rich country such as India will also be beneficial to their academic endeavours in the future.

Please consider my application for the occasion and provide me with the chance to share some interesting facts about my home country with the students at your university. Thank you for your time and consideration.

If any extra preparations are needed for my presentation, please let me know as soon as possible.

For your consideration, please accept my thanks in advance.

Respectfully, yours

Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my interest in speaking at your college on International Day. I would be honoured if you could allow me to represent and speak on behalf of my nation, India.

On the occasion of International Day, I would like to talk with children about the rich cultural legacy of my country. I aim to shed light on a range of subjects, including the short history of historic monuments, the diversity of cuisine and clothes worn by various ethnic groups across the nation, and some insights into the country's rich past.

It will, in my opinion, benefit students, particularly those studying history, archaeology, and the humanities. Having some familiarity with a diverse and culturally rich nation like India would also benefit their studies.

I hope you will evaluate my application for the occasion and give me the opportunity to share some fascinating information about my nation with the students at your institution.

Kindly notify me if any special preparations are required for my presentation.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely, yours

Band 6.5

Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my interest in speaking about our country at your college on the international day on 29 June.

Fortunately, I am a social activist and a good speaker because I am the President of the Students Union Council at Kurukshetra University now. So I would like to share my views on different topics regarding our nation.

Firstly, I want to talk about Indian festivals, especially the importance of national festivals, and the contribution of freedom fighters regarding independence. Secondly, the importance of sports, so that people are influenced by sportsmen like ' Milkha Singh', the 'Flying Sikh', and Neeraj Chopra, the Javelin thrower.

I would appreciate it if you could allow me to speak and represent myself. For this, please provide me with a projector and a good quality sound system. I am planning to show some pictures and audio clips to make the speech more effective.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you in advance.

Yours sincerely,

Priya Choudhary.
