14. You are going to throw a party and would like to cook a special dish for your guests but do not have the recipe. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

• tell your friend why you are having a party

• explain what dish you want to cook and ask your friend for the recipe

• invite your friend to the party

Dear Sonia,

Hope you are doing well. I‘ve some exciting news. I’m having a great party next Sunday, 8 July, at our home, at 5.00 pm. I’m seeking your help on the occasion of my son’s birthday party.

My only son, Morya, will be nine next week, and he is very excited about his birthday and the party. Actually, I want to cook something special for the guests by myself. Immediately, the dish you cooked for me came to my mind. Do you remember? You cooked moong daal halwa for me when I met you last month. It was very delicious and sumptuous. I can’t forget the taste of it.

I want to cook the same for the guests, and it’s my son’s favourite. Please send me the ingredients list that I have to buy and send me a video on how to cook it.

I’d like to invite you to this party, and you’re the first one on the invitation list, so please come to my house a day before the event so that we can spend some memorable time together by missing those college days.
