17. You have seen a course advertised online that you think would help you perform better at work. The course will take place during the week, so you will need to take time off work.

 Write a letter to your manager. In the letter 

⦁ say what the course is 

⦁ explain why you want to do the course and how it will be beneficial to the company 

⦁ suggest how your work can be covered while you attend the course.

Dear Sir,

                              I am writing to inform you that I want to attend a course called 'Digital Art', which is organised by the 'Le Denovo' company. It is an online workshop for five days next week.

                            I have been working for your reputed company named 'Sita Ram Graphics Art' for the last two years as a graphic designer, but due to many new techniques in graphics design, our company does not give its best output due to conventional methods of work.

                              For this, I needed to join this course through which I can learn new techniques and skills, especially digital art, which is beneficial for the company's output due to the increasing demand for this course.

                             I fully understand that it is difficult to manage the whole work during my course, but I assure you that I will do my best. For this, I do extra work with extra working hours with my full-time job from Friday to Sunday without any extra salary.

                       I look forward to hearing from you soon.
