The provided map depicts the evolution of Chorleywood, a village situated in close proximity to London, from the year 1868 to 1994.

In general, Chorleywood village has experienced significant urbanisation, characterised by the establishment of primary transportation arteries such as important highways, a motorway, and railway tracks. Additionally, the development has encompassed the creation of recreational spaces, such as a park and a golf centre.

Regarding alterations, a motorway was constructed in the year 1970, spanning from a northern to a southern direction and intersecting the primary road and railway infrastructure. The establishment of the railway tracks and Chorleywood railway station occurred in 1909, with their route traversing the southern region of the settlement. Two crossroads were established, with one facilitating access to the motorway in the southeastern direction, while the other provided connectivity to a main road running in the north-south direction in the southwestern region. 

In relation to primary transportation arteries, Chorleywood village witnessed the establishment of two prominent thoroughfares, specifically a road running in a north-south direction and another traversing the village in a west-east orientation. Furthermore, the village centre was home to a park and a golf course. The period from 1883 to 1922 witnessed significant urban development in the vicinity of the railway station.

                        The map illustrates the development of Chorleywood, a village near London, between 1868 and 1994.

                     Overall, Chorleywood village has witnessed spectacular developments such as main roads, a motorway, railway tracks, a park, and a golf center.

                  In terms of modifications in Chorleywood village (London), a motorway was built in 1970, passing from north to south by crossing the main road and railway tracks. Railway tracks and Chorleywood railway station were constructed in 1909, and the tracks pass through the south of the village. There were two intersections. The first is with a motorway to the south-east and the second one is with a north-south-main road to the south-west of the village.

            Turning to main roads, there are two main roads that have been developed in Chorleywood village. The first one is known as the north-south road, and the second one is called the west-east road. Another development is that park and golf course, which is situated in the center of the village. The area around the railway station was developed between 1883 and 1922.
