15. Describe your favourite season.

You should say:

What the season is and when it occurs?

What the weather is like during this season?

What your typical activities are during this season?

And explain why it is your favourite season?

Sample Answer

            My favourite season is the winter season, which generally occurs between November to February. The weather during this time is cool and pleasant, with clear blue skies and a refreshing nip in the air.

            In northern India, the temperature can drop significantly, with cold winds blowing and sometimes even snowfall in the hilly regions. However, in southern India, the temperatures remain mild, making it the perfect time to explore the beaches and enjoy the sunny days.

               During the winter season, there are many festivals and events that take place, making it a joyous time for people to celebrate and come together. In many parts of India, the winter season is synonymous with the festival of lights, Diwali, which is celebrated with much enthusiasm and fervor. Other festivals like Christmas and New Year's Eve are also celebrated with great zeal, making it a festive and joyous time.

              Apart from festivals, there are many outdoor activities that people enjoy during this season. Trekking in the Himalayas, skiing, and snowboarding are popular activities in the northern regions, while beach activities like swimming and water sports are common in the southern parts of the country.

               The winter season is my favorite season because of its pleasant weather, festivals, and the opportunity to engage in many fun outdoor activities. It is the time when people come together to celebrate and spread happiness, making it a memorable time of the year.
