In the initial stage, sugar canes are grown in agricultural fields for a period of 12-18 months. Subsequently, they are harvested either manually or by employing machinery. The next step involves the crushing of the canes between two rotating rollers, resulting in the extraction of juice. This juice is then subjected to purification using a limestone filter.
In the fifth stage, the purified juice is evaporated in a heater, leading to the formation of syrup. The syrup is then separated from sugar crystals through the process of centrifugation. Following this, the sugar crystals undergo drying and cooling in an open area before being stored in bags. Finally, the bags of sugar are transported for distribution in the market.
