Regarding the issue of unemployment in the United States, the proportion of individuals in the labour force experiencing unemployment stood at 7.0% in March 1993. This figure underwent a marginal decline of 1% in March 1994, subsequently leading to a moderate decrease to 5.5% in March 1995.

Regarding the unemployment rate in America, in March 1993, the proportion of the workforce was 7.0%, and it fell slightly by 1% in March 1994, before falling moderately to 5.5% in March 1995. Interestingly, in March 1996, the figure rose moderately to 6.0% and then it dropped dramatically to 5.0 in the third month of the year 1997. Lastly, the figure settled at 5.0% in March 1999.
Turning to the figure for Japan, between March 1993 and March 1994, the figure rose significantly to around 3.7%, in March 1995, reaching moderately 4.5% in 1996 and then it increased considerably to approximately 5.3% in 1998, and the figure settled at 5.0 in 1999.
In summary, it can be seen the unemployment rate in the USA was the greatest, whereas in Japan it was the lowest.
