                    There is little room for doubt that the last 15 years have witnessed a greater rise in girls’ participation in almost every field of life. It is believed that it is a positive trend for our society. Indeed, now women have more opportunities than they had in the past. I firmly disagree that this situation has caused more issues than it has solved. This essay will discuss the statement in the upcoming paragraphs, along with my own opinion.

                         Certainly, there are numerous upsides to giving more chances to women in every field, whether it is in jobs or education. One of the most significant positives is that they might reduce the gender gap between boys and girls. To exemplify it, in some underdeveloped and developed countries, the rate of participation of women in jobs and education is relatively high, compared to men, because governments have provided proper facilities to increase women's empowerment in their nations.

                     There is no denying the fact that social evils like gender discrimination are still practised in some countries such as India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. To ameliorate the negative impact of these evils, the government should provide jobs as well as education to women so that they might become successful in their lives. This would be one of the greatest steps to remove gender discrimination from all over the world.

                         To conclude, it seems to me that providing more opportunities for women is the finest step to ameliorating the effects of social evils, and this would be a positive trend for our society.
