The question of whether or not talents are inherent or can be developed has been the subject of discussion. While it is commonly believed that certain people are born with specific talents, such as music or athletics, there is an opposing view that argues that anyone can become proficient with sufficient training and effort. In my opinion, while innate abilities may provide a head start, nurturing and deliberate practise play crucial roles in the development of expertise.
There is ample evidence to support the idea that people are born with natural abilities. Some individuals demonstrate exceptional aptitude in specific domains at a young age, demonstrating inherent abilities that give them an advantage. For example, juvenile prodigies in music or sports exhibit extraordinary skills and abilities that cannot be attributed to training alone.

However, it is also crucial to recognise the power of deliberate practise and diligent training. Regardless of natural ability, consistent effort, disciplined practise, and effective coaching can substantially improve an individual's musical or athletic skills. Numerous accomplished athletes and musicians attribute their accomplishments to years of rigorous training and a never-ending quest for improvement.
Furthermore, it is vital to consider the role of passion and motivation. While natural talent can provide an initial spark, it is the desire and drive to excel that sustain long-term advancement. Without genuine interest and commitment, even those with innate talent may not realise their maximum potential.
In conclusion, The debate between innate talent and acquired abilities is complicated. While some individuals may possess innate talent in fields such as music or sports, deliberate practise, training, and a strong desire to succeed are essential for attaining mastery. Rather than viewing the situation as either/or, it is more likely that a combination of innate talent and developed skills will produce the greatest results.

 Band 6.5

There is little doubt that the last 15 years have seen more development in the talents of children than the previous 30. Some people opine that most children are born with certain talents, such as sports, music, and many others. Others believe that pupils can be taught to become professionals. My essay tends to dwell upon both views.

Indeed, there are numerous upsides to having inborn talent in children. One of the most important is confidence. To put it another way, those pupils who are born with a certain talent are very motivated, as they perform their favourable tasks not only efficiently but also perfectly. Additionally, the chance of failure is very low because they use special techniques to perform their tasks. According to a survey conducted by the Times of India, 40% of the candidates use their inborn talent to clear an interview at an MNC. Added to this is that they use their intelligence to perform a given task in an interview. Hence, families are very lucky to have a rising star in their family.

On the other hand, there is no denying the fact that practice makes a man perfect. Moreover, children can be taught if special training is provided by experienced teachers. Furthermore, parents also have a very big role in training their children, which means they have to take care of their diet along with eating a nutritious diet. Therefore, any child can become perfect if special training is provided.

To conclude, I believe that children who are born with a certain talent can perform their favourable tasks perfectly if they are trained well.
