BAND 6.5

There is little room for doubt that the last 15 years have seen more development in the developed countries than the previous 30 years. I, like many others, believe that richer countries should help poor countries by contributing some amount of money to health, education as well as trade.

Certainly, there are numerous upsides to helping other nations. One of the most important is living a standardised life, meaning that if the rich countries assist poor nations, there might be no poverty. Additionally, pupils might get a chance to get an education from their dream fields, which results in getting a better job opportunity. Moreover, elderly people may also get medical facilities, which means the medicine cost along with regular checks might be free. A survey, conducted by the Times of India, has revealed that 70% of older citizens in the USA are dependent on the medical facilities which are provided by the government because they cannot afford the cost of treatment. Hence, many countries are following the same method to help their citizens.

On the other hand, most nations misuse the money by purchasing weapons as well as tanks for defencing the country, which means they spend all the tax on defence and do not use the money on public related projects. For instance, Europe is a well-developed continent because the government invests the money in better fields.

To conclude, rich countries should assist poor countries because it helps people to live in the standard way.
