The following graph gives information about book-buying over 30 years in New York.

Sample Answer 1

The presented graphic gives information about the number and types of books bought by every individual during the past three decades in New York.

It is evident that in 1960, very few people were attracted by the hardcover of books, as book sales stood steady until 1980, below 5, whereas paperback book sales fluctuated fitfully, surging more than one third in 1975. Book purchases, however, proved very erratic again, but the trend of both covering books was upwards this time, inclining more than 5 and 40 in 1985 before hitting a low of 60 and 95 in the last year.

Turning to the variety of books, biography and history books were the least popular among natives of New York. They were below 20 until the 1990s, but people loved purchasing self-help books in the eighties. Political and religious books were ranked second after self-help ones, while their sales were the highest in 1965 compared to self-study books.

In general, during a 30-year period, book buying in New York fluctuated wildly with the distinct kinds of books.
