The illustrations below show how coffee is sometimes produced.

  Sample Answer 1

The diagram depicts the various stages involved in the production of coffee. Overall, there are twelve distinct steps in this process, starting from the sorting of beans and culminating in the packaging and sale of the final product.

To commence the process, the coffee beans are initially sorted, followed by a thorough cleaning in a sieve. Subsequently, these cleaned beans are left to dry in an open area for a duration of four weeks. During this time, the beans are regularly raked and turned. Once the raking and turning process is complete, the beans are stored in a silo before being transported to the mill via truck.

Moving on to the seventh step, the beans are hulled and transformed into a powdered form. Following this, the bean powder is carefully graded before being packed into bags. These bags of coffee are then sent to the market for sale. The final step involves the roasting of the coffee in a machine, after which it is packed and sold to consumers. These series of steps collectively contribute to the production of coffee using the dry method.
