                       From 1970 to 1996, the figures illustrate the number of individuals who traveled to and from the United Kingdom, as well as the percentage of people who visited the most popular nations.

                  In terms of trips to and from the United Kingdom, 11 million tourists visited the country in 1970, but the figure quickly rose to 50 million in 1996. Ten million international students visited the UK in 1970, which increased from two million in 1964. Notably, the number of international visitors was 20 million in 1969; the amount rose to 22 million in 1996.

              In summary, the greatest percentage of visits came from France, while the lowest proportion came from Turkey.

           When it comes to popular vacation destinations, more people (13 million) choose France over Turkey (3 million). Spain attracted a greater percentage of tourists than the United States. Surprisingly, the nation attracted less than 5 million visitors last year.

                          The line graph and bar graph illustrate visits to and from the UK between 1979 and 1999 and the most popular countries visited by Britons in 1999.

                          Regarding visits to and from the UK, 12 million Britons visited abroad in 1979. In the next 5 years, the number reached 20 million and by the end of 1999, more than 50 million UK citizens travelled abroad. From 1979 to 1986, the number of tourists who visited the UK hovered around 10 million. In the given period, the number only rose by around 15 million.

                     Turning to the most popular countries visited by UK residents in 1999, the highest number of visitors came from France (11 million), whereas the lowest came from Turkey (about 2 million). The figure for Spain and the USA stood at 9 million and 4 million respectively.

                           In summary, it can be seen clearly that the UK was most popular tourist spot with the French.
