                 There is little room for doubt that, due to advancements in technology, the world has become a global village. As a result, people have started travelling more in the last 50 years than in the previous 200 years. This phenomenon is offering multifarious benefits to the world.

               Certainly, there are many reasons behind why more and more people are travelling nowadays. Firstly, scientific advancement has made travelling cheaper and faster. For instance, earlier, steam engine trains took 2 days to travel from Mumbai to Amritsar, but now the latest technology trains have made the travel time very short. Secondly, many countries offer huge discounts to tourists in order to boost their economy. A survey,  done by "The Times of India" has found that in India the tourist sector is one of the largest growing sectors in the last 5 years.

             Furthermore, learning new cultures and traditions has become very easy in the modern era. For example, many foreigners come to India to learn spirituality and yoga every year. Moreover, tourists also get to meet different types of people and gain a great deal of experience. This experience may help them to solve their personal and professional problems in their life. In addition, while travelling, people learn many life skills, such as communication skills.

                  In conclusion, it is irrefutable that cheap air tickets are one of the main reasons travelling has become very easy for people.
