However, comics may be limited in the quantity of information they can convey due to the constrained space for text and images.

In contrast, books provide a comprehensive and immersive mode of communication. They offer in-depth information that enables readers to explore topics at their own leisure. The active participation of the reader in constructing mental images and connecting ideas fosters critical thinking and imagination. In addition, books allow authors to delve deeply into complex topics, providing exhaustive explanations and evidence to support their arguments. However, books contain only text, which may be less engaging for those who prefer visual stimuli.

As a visual medium, television has the benefit of presenting information via audiovisual content. Combining visuals, sound, and motion, it offers a dynamic and compelling experience. Television programmes, such as documentaries and news broadcasts, provide viewers with a vivid depiction of events, allowing them to observe occurrences in real time. However, television may prioritise entertainment over informational substance, and its rapid-fire nature may restrict the amount of time devoted to each subject.

In terms of intellectual engagement, books are superior to comics and television in terms of depth, breadth, and overall efficacy. Books foster critical thinking, impart vast knowledge, and provide enduring references for readers. In addition, books enable readers to construct their own mental images and interact with the text on a personal level, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

BAND 6.5

There is little room for doubt that the last 15 years have witnessed more development in new technology than in the preceding 30 years. In modern times, there are several sources, such as comics, books, radio, television, film and theatre, for communicating information all over the world. These sources of information have both a positive and negative impact on our society. This essay will discuss the pros and cons of these means of communication, along with my own opinion.

Certainly, there are numerous upsides to distinct modes of communication. One of the most significant positives is that they are fast and convenient, meaning that modern technology works on high-speed internet due to which data is sent from hosts to clients within a few seconds. For example, the latest mobile phones and tablets have been manufactured using this technology. Moreover, intelligence is eco and budget-friendly, which means it does not have a negative impact on our environment and it is available at an economical cost so that people can use modern technology. According to a survey conducted by the Times of India, Jio, which is an Indian telecom company, has launched internet and calling plans at a reasonable cost for prime subscribers.

Despite the advantages, there are several disadvantages to a new communication system, too. The first negative is that most young individuals use their electronic devices for long hours due to which they for long hours due to which they face many health-related problems such as muscle impairment and heart diseases. This is an example of a sedentary lifestyle.

Turning to the most effective media in today's world, it seems to me that comics are one of the best sources of communication because they contain information as well as visuals, which help understand the concept of stories.
