Sample Answer 1

BAND 7+

In today's culture, becoming a civilised member of society is more important than ever for youngsters. Early full-time school entry is a contentious issue since there are both proponents and opponents.

Making children attend school for 6 to 7 hours a day has a lot of positive aspects, as well. In addition, children may learn a great deal before they reach adulthood, which means that they are more active and intelligent than those who do not. The second benefit is that they develop the habit of hard effort, which equips them for future success. Children who spend half of their day at school are more disciplined, which is a benefit. The fact that children in Japan attend school for 16 hours a day instils a sense of tenacity in them, in addition to making them determined.

Despite the benefits, the problem has several drawbacks. The first is that staying up late at school wears them out. It is also not possible for them to keep up their physical and mental fitness by playing sports after school. More hours spent in school also means children mature sooner, which is detrimental to their development throughout their formative years. Students who start school full-time at a young age are 70% more likely to be depressed than those who spend 2 to 3 hours a day in class.

The disadvantages of the problem far exceed the advantages since children are the future of a country, thus they may select how much time they spend in school.
