                                  There is no doubting the fact that the need for families to build the character and overall development of young learners to survive in a civilised society has always been paramount. However, the issue of whether university students live with their parents or far away from home has many advantages and disadvantages, since there are strong arguments for and against it.

                                 Indeed, students living with their families have several upsides. Firstly, parents are the first guided path to learning morally and socially from cradle to grave. For this, academicians learn not only academic but also social aspects of their lives. If students study far away from their homes and live in hostels, they may become drug addicts. Secondly, parents have a great ability to teach their children almost every lesson in the best possible way, resulting in good businessmen or sportsmen. Moreover, it gives a feeling of caring and respecting the elderly, otherwise they will suffer from homesickness. According to a study conducted by the Hindustan Times, 35% of students commit suicide due to ragging, raping, and drug addiction in India.

                                  On the contrary, studying far from their homes has numerous benefits, too. Firstly, it develops their interpersonal skill because self-learning is a life-long process. Students are able to build their confidence level by evaluating themselves. Second, they must develop earning habits in addition to their studies in order to pay for their semester fees. For instance, every year, a significant number of students from India go abroad for their higher studies. During such busy schedules, they do jobs according to their study field, submit their fees, and pay their house rent so that they can make their lives comfortable and relaxed.

                               In conclusion, it seems to me that living with families has more advantages as compared to living away, as such types of learning make students free from crimes, drug addictions, and build good academicians in the future.
