A significant number of individuals opine that radio is an appropriate device to stay up-to-date with current events, while others believe that watching the news on television is better than radio. The essay will discuss both the strong arguments in the upcoming paragraphs, along with my opinion.

                Indeed, listening to the news via radio has numerous upsides. One of the most significant positives is that it provides uninterrupted services. To put it another way, it does not have any physical connection such as wires and rims on a transmitter antenna so that it delivers news, music and match commentaries without any noise disturbance. Moreover, the radio is a portable gadget, which means that people can carry the device with them easily and enjoy its services. In modern times, radio is also available on the latest mobile phones. In addition, using radio is efficient and convenient because it provides real-time content without any requirement for external-power sources.

                           Certainly, watching television for various purposes, such as news, sports, and movies, has several advantages. One of them is that it provides content with visuals and sound, which helps individuals understand the concept clearly. According to a survey conducted by the Times of India, 70% of Indians prefer to watch local news on television rather than on the radio, as they can analyze and know about the current events in the nation. Furthermore, they can also spend some quality time with their family and friends, watching their favourite TV shows together.
