                               There is little room for doubt that the last 15 years have witnessed a greater number of multi-talented people in society than in the preceding 30 years. Nowadays, the concept of a single career is outdated. The new trend of having multiple career options such as in jobs and higher education will continue in the future. The essay will discuss the statement, along with my opinion.

                       Indeed, there are numerous upsides to acquiring multiple skills. One of the most significant positives is that people can become multi-talented. To put it another way, they might secure high-profile jobs in their dream organisations and earn a handsome salary if they develop two or more skills. For example, Virat Kohli, a famous cricketer, is a cricketer and a brand ambassador of Audi and BMW, which are the top-leading car manufacturing companies. Moreover, he plays for India and does TV advertisements. Thus, he is one of the richest cricketers in the world.

                            In recent times, most high-school pupils prefer to opt for both medical and non-medical subjects because they have an opportunity to become a doctor or an engineer, which they would decide after schooling. Similarly, many job seekers develop relevant skills, so they can easily compete with others during interviews. According to a survey conducted by the Times of India, 70% of students, who have been studying in universities or colleges, have applied for internship programs in various organizations so that they can increase their skill-set and get exposure experience of the working environment.

                        To conclude, it seems to me that multi-career options are mandatory because competition has been increased in the market. If people want to survive in society, they might develop more skills.
