Sample Answer 1

BAND 7

There is no doubting the fact that computers have become one of the fundamental sources of acquiring knowledge. The need for a computer in everyone's life is paramount, as it helps people keep up-to-date with current events worldwide. Having more reliance on technology in terms of communication and medicine is controversial, as there are solid arguments for and against it.

Indeed, there are numerous upsides to using technology. One significant benefit is better job opportunities, meaning that many people want to work in multinational companies. In order to get better salary packages, people prefer to depend on technology and become master of it. The second positive is that technology has revolutionized the way people learn and travel. Travelling around the globe now has become easier than it has ever been because people can quickly receive their tickets, which is unquestionably beneficial for the growth of a nation. Also, in the past, people had to wait for longer hours to buy a ticket, which wastes their time and energy. That is why computers play an essential role in every individual's life.

Besides the advantages, there are numerous drawbacks to using a computer. One essential is that people become unhealthy because they utilize their time while using technology that adversely affects their physical, mental and physical growth. Moreover, they are busy in their virtual world that they are rarely concerned about the people and matters around them. Moreover, when they depend on computers, they become less complicated workers because they know that a computer will solve their problems, which is unarguably detrimental to their confidence and talent.

To conclude, it seems to me that using computers is essential for the overall development of a nation, with the advantages of procuring better job perspectives.
