  Sample Answer 1

The pictures illustrate how a park has evolved since it was constructed in 1920. Overall, it is clear that the park added and extended facilities mostly connected to entertainment, including a bigger stage and numerous leisure facilities. It is worth noting that, despite the inclusion of a café and a children's play area, the park keeps the core characteristics of flowers, water, sitting, and music.

The most noticeable modification is in the park's centre, where the fountain has been replaced with a rose garden. The amphitheatre presently occupies this area. Similarly, a children's play area has been established in the northeast corner of the pond, while a café has been constructed adjacent. There were seating areas next to the rose gardens, as well as sound systems that played music. All rose gardens to the north of the park have been removed, leaving just one. Aside from that, an underground parking space has also been constructed in the park's bottom right corner.

  Sample Answer 3

Band 6.5

The pictures illustrate how a public park has evolved since it was constructed in 1920. Overall, massive changes have been witnessed related to amusement and the rearrangement of seating.

The most striking change is in the park’s centre, where the fountain has been replaced by a rose garden surrounded by seats all around. Additionally, the stage for musicians has been substituted by an amphitheatre for concerts. All rose gardens have been removed, except one located in the northwest of the park. Another major change is that the pond for water plants has been transformed into a children’s play area, and a cafe has been built adjacent to it. The glasshouse has been knocked down, and a beautiful water feature has been constructed. It is noticeable that entrances from the north and south of the park have remained unchanged. Aside from that, an underground parking has also been built in the right corner of the park.
