Sample Answer 1

Advertising has become an inseparable aspect of our lives, capturing our attention and influencing our purchasing decisions. This essay examines two opposing viewpoints on the effectiveness of advertising: one asserts that it has significant success in influencing customers, while the other claims that its omnipresence has led to indifference. This essay provides a balanced approach and personal views on the impact of advertising by evaluating both perspectives.
Advertising, a multibillion-dollar industry, seeks to encourage customers to purchase goods or services. Advertisers use a variety of strategies to develop desire for their products, such as emotional appeals, memorable slogans, and appealing graphics. Advertising effectively influences purchasing decisions and promotes sales by utilising consumer psychology. Many success stories show how advertising influences customer preferences and builds brand loyalty. Furthermore, targeted advertising enables marketers to adapt messages to certain populations, increasing the persuasive power of their messaging.

According to critics, advertising has become so pervasive in our lives that we have become desensitised to its messages. Individuals are finding it harder to distinguish between legitimate information and commercial content due to the constant assault of advertisements across multiple platforms. Advertisements have faded into the background, merging into the background and vanishing from our conscious awareness. As a result, some argue that advertising's influence on consumer behaviour has waned as people develop ways to ignore or filter out marketing signals.
While advertising can effectively persuade customers and its pervasiveness may contribute to desensitisation, both points of view contain truth. The effectiveness of advertising varies depending on elements such as the message's quality, the receptivity of the target audience, and the nature of the product. Furthermore, the rise of ad-blocking software and the ability to skip or fast-forward through advertisements have put traditional advertising strategies under further strain. Despite growing apathy against certain types of advertising, well-crafted and carefully positioned ads can still capture and influence customers' behaviour.

In conclusion, advertising has the ability to influence consumer decisions and has shown great success over time. However, the ubiquity of advertising in today's society has also contributed to consumer apathy. While some advertisements may go unseen, others stand out and influence our decisions. Advertising efficacy is dependent on striking a careful balance between engaging messaging, precise targeting, and an understanding of consumer behaviour. Finally, when presented with advertising, consumers must use discernment and critical thinking, while advertisers must adapt to changing consumer preferences in order to remain effective and relevant.

There is no denying that, in recent years, advertising has emerged as a very powerful tool for worldwide business promotion. Despite customers' increased awareness, the companies exaggerate claims about their products to entice customers, advertising, in my opinion, has a huge influence on their buying behaviour.

Many people believe that advertising is influential because there are many critical factors in favour of this theory. One of them is that advertising a product today is far easier and less time-consuming due to technological advances. As a result, advertisers worldwide are utilizing modern marketing mediums such as television and the internet. It is a common belief that the more something is marketed, the more it is bought. A good example of this is that there are hundreds of pages of different companies on Facebook, and people do like them.

On the other hand, others claim that buyers no longer pay attention to advertisements. One may say that advertisements have become powerless. For instance, many people have formed a negative attitude about advertising as a result of daily exposure to it via billboards on the streets and pop-up advertisements on the internet. For example, people are so used to pop-ups and commercial information directly on the computer screen that they disregard everything.

In conclusion, I feel that both arguments have valid points. However, the idea for the influence of advertising is more significant, with the upside that it is continuously evolving and inventing new techniques to persuade customers to purchase products.

There is no doubt that promoting your products or services is necessary for today's economy. Without social media, marketing activities will no longer be effective. Advertising, as one cynical philosopher once put it, does not alter people's behaviours; however, in my opinion, it does.

Effective marketing is critical to a business's success. Advertisers use vibrant and interesting strategies to entice customers. Words were ingrained in their mind, a practice that has persisted to the present day. Curiosity is heightened by the mental stimulus. The customer's inherent inquisitiveness motivates them to purchase the products. There are currently many ways to entice and persuade a specific client group to interact and convert to paying clients. Due to the Internet's ability to advertise on practically every social media platform, businesses now have the potential to convert consumers. These sites (such as Facebook, Twitter, and others) consume a significant portion of our spare time, and the advertisements can not go unnoticed. A wonderfully simple technique for increasing product sales is by advertising them.

Nonetheless, it is said that these advertisements have grown so ubiquitous that no one notices them anymore. If the same advertisement continues to run, the company might just as well be labelled a café. They are repeatedly exposed to or hearing the same images or phrases, which may result in a decline in the number of individuals interested in that advertisement.

To conclude, advertising is, in my opinion, the most successful marketing tool found due to the fact that it offers wide reach and variety of choices.

With the rising number of fraud cases and the proliferation of sellers of the same goods, there is no question that the necessity to promote a product in the market has become critical in the modern-day. It has evolved into a critical component of any marketing plan. Despite the fact that some individuals think that advertising has little influence on people and their decisions, I believe that advertising has a significant impact on people's choices.

Correctly advertising a product may have a significant impact on the success of a business. People are drawn to specific colour schemes and attractive words that marketers use to get them to buy their products. They read a few words that got entrenched in their brains when they finished reading them. Curiosity is piqued in the minds of people when they see or hear these sorts of things. This piqued interest acts as a conduit for the consumer to acquire the desired goods. The advancements in technology have created an abundance of opportunities to entice your target audience and turn them into paying consumers. Because of the Internet, marketers may now place advertisements on almost every social media site, increasing the likelihood that the individual who views the advertisement will become a client. People often spend the majority of their spare time on these social media apps, and it is impossible for the ads to go undetected in this environment. The use of testimonials is an incredibly effective method of convincing a large number of people to purchase your goods.

Some individuals, on the other hand, feel that these ads have grown so commonplace that they are no longer observed. If the business continues to use the same advertisement for their goods, it might be a café. Following repeated exposure to or hearing of the same visuals or words in advertising, people's interest in that advertisement may wane.

To conclude, I believe that advertising is the most effective instrument ever found in the marketing business because of its broad use and the possibilities it opens up.

Without a question, today's marketplace needs continuous advertising exposure to remain current with the newest and best commercial trends. There are compelling reasons for and against understating the significance of these advertisements.

Let us not pretend that advertising does not affect society. Advertising is one method of raising customer awareness of goods. This has resulted in a rise in both demand and supply, which is quite reasonable given the advancement of technology. Additionally, the government utilises many advertisements and logos on the internet and television to promote social isolation, hand cleanliness, the use of a face mask, and immunisation during these recurrent outbreaks of Covid 19. As a result, the country's economic development has accelerated. When these advertisements are shared on social media and e-commerce platforms, they reach a larger audience, resulting in an increase in sales and a boom in the economy.

To be sure, others argue that consumers are wary of advertising. Digital advertising, like conventional advertising, is an excellent illustration of this. Pop-up advertisements, banner advertisements, sign-up requests for mailing lists, and auto-playing video advertisements all have poor click-through rates among Internet users. One particularly worrisome aspect is that individuals have acquired an unconscious habit of bypassing YouTube advertisements and rejecting pop-up advertising, which means they may get irritated if these kinds of auto-clips show up in their YouTube videos.

To conclude, both of these assertions seem to me to be valid. However, the notion that advertising has a strong impact on consumers is particularly significant, since advertising is always evolving and introducing new methods to convince people to purchase goods.

There is no doubt that today's marketplace needs constant advertising exposure in order to stay current with the latest and greatest commercial trends. There are strong arguments for and against downplaying the importance of these ads.

Let's not pretend that advertising does not have a significant impact on society. Advertising is one of the ways to increase consumer awareness of products. This has led to an increase in both demand and supply, which is quite logical considering the growth of technology. Also, the government runs numerous ads and logos on the internet and television encouraging social distance, hand hygiene, using a face mask, and immunisation during these recurring instances of Covid 19. To go along with this, the country's economic growth has quickened. More customers are exposed to these ads when they are found on social media and e-commerce platforms, and this has the effect of increasing sales, leading to a boom in the economy.

To be sure, some contend that the customer has grown tired of advertising. Like traditional advertising, digital advertising is a great example of this. Pop-up ads, banner ads, mailing list sign-up requests, and auto-playing video ads have low click-through rates among Internet users. One very concerning fact is that people have developed an unconscious practice of skipping YouTube commercials and rejecting pop-up ads, which means they may get annoyed if these types of auto-clips appear on their YouTube videos.

To conclude, it seems to me as though both of these claims have merit. However, the fact that advertising has a powerful effect on consumers is especially relevant, because advertising always evolves and introduces new techniques to persuade customers to buy products.

There is no denying the fact that in the cutting-edge technological era, advertising plays an indispensable role in the market field. In spite of its popularity, people begin to neglect it because of its daily exposure.

To commence with, companies use advertisements to promote their products at a global level. They use various methods to reach their target audience, as advertising is less time-consuming and the easiest way. To make it more reliable, many companies use celebrity endorsements. Undoubtedly, some people are swayed by these advertisements because they follow their idols, and they purchase things that they do not need. In particular, children get attracted by these adverts and force their parents to purchase unnecessary things. Furthermore, social media, with its growing popularity, has become the most essential platform for companies to appeal to youngsters, and a great deal of companies spend a huge sum on influencers, and they promote products without knowing their details.

On the other hand, many people do not pay much attention to these adverts due to the daily exposure of advertising through billboards in the streets and pop-ups on computer screens. Thus, it may affect customers' purchasing behaviour. Moreover, individuals become more aware and able to understand the false claims of companies. For instance, there are a number of creams available on the market for skin whitening, but they actually do not work. Hence, customers may be no more convinced by these untrue claims.

To conclude, it seems to me that advertising remains a powerful tool for business promotion because companies use new technologies and methods to attract a majority of people to make a huge profit.

There is little room for doubt that the need for advertising in order to stay up-to-date with the new products available on the market is paramount. The issue of whether advertisements persuade people or are becoming very common in the digitalised world is controversial, as there are strong arguments for and against it.

It is considered by many people that advertisements play an indispensable role in promoting products because they contain attractive visuals that force the young as well as every person of their respective age to purchase items. One advantage to advertising agencies for selling their products is that they advertise their items with famous celebrities, who attract public attention successfully. For example, Byju's learning app is advertised by Shahrukh, a famous actor, so that a large number of students take part in it. Thus, advertisements are made public under its control.

On the other hand, it is believed that people find advertising things no longer attractive, as there are many irrelevant advertisements on the internet which do not have any relation to the products being advertised. Such as, toothpaste, which is linked with the advertisement for cement. Above this, some added chemicals are found in the eatables, which make the person's health worse. That is why, usually, people skip advertisements. For instance, in beverages, harmful gases are sprayed to sell at higher prices. Hence, it is neglected by people.

To conclude, it seems to me that watching distinct advertisements enriches our horizons about the new products which are going to be launched on the market soon.
